Welcome to the World Mission Society Church of God South Central Region website located at https://www.scrwmscog.org/ (the “Website”).

For purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the terms “Church,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the World Mission Society Church of God South Central Region and the SCR Website Team responsible for operating the Website. The terms “you” and “User” refer to any person who accesses, views, or uses the Website.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any other notices posted on the Website, govern your access to and use of the Website.

By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please discontinue use of the Website.

1. Purpose of the Website

The Website is a public informational website intended to provide information about the Church, its beliefs, Bible study opportunities, community service, volunteer activities, events, regional news, and related activities.

The Website primarily serves the South Central Region, including Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Arkansas. However, the Website may be accessed by Users from other locations.

The Website does not offer paid products or services, process donations or payments, or provide User accounts as of the Last Updated date.

2. Changes to These Terms

The Church may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will become effective when the revised Terms and Conditions are posted on the Website, unless another effective date is stated.

The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms and Conditions were most recently revised. Your continued use of the Website after revised Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of those revisions.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and Conditions, the Church grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable permission to access and use the Website for personal, lawful, and noncommercial purposes.

You may view the Website and may print or save reasonable portions of publicly available Website content for your personal, noncommercial use, provided that you:

- Do not represent the content as your own;
- Do not use the content in a misleading, harmful, or unlawful manner; and

- Impersonate the Church, a Church representative, a Website administrator, or another person;
-Use the Website to harass, threaten, defame, abuse, or violate the rights or privacy of another person;
- Collect, scrape, harvest, store, or create databases using information from the Website or information about Website Users;
- Use automated systems, robots, spiders, crawlers, data-mining tools, or similar technologies to access or monitor the Website in a manner that creates an unreasonable burden or circumvents Website restrictions;
- Introduce viruses, malicious code, harmful files, or other technologies intended to disrupt or damage the Website or another system;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its administrative systems, forms, accounts, data, networks, or connected services;
- Circumvent security measures, access restrictions, or authentication controls;

The Church may investigate suspected misuse and may take appropriate technical or legal action where reasonably necessary.

5. Website Content and Intellectual Property

The Website and its contents may include text, photographs, graphics, logos, artwork, designs, videos, audio, articles, event descriptions, service-project information, software, layouts, and other materials collectively referred to as the “Materials.”

The Materials are owned by, licensed to, or used with permission by the Church, the World Mission Society Church of God, related Church organizations, affiliated entities, or their respective licensors and content providers.

The Materials may be protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

Except for the limited permission expressly provided in these Terms, no ownership rights or licenses are transferred to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by the applicable owner.

6. Church Names and Trademarks

Names, logos, service marks, designs, and other identifiers displayed on the Website, including “World Mission Society Church of God,” may be trademarks or protected identifiers owned by the Church, related Church organizations, affiliated entities, or their licensors.

You may not use, reproduce, register, imitate, modify, or commercially exploit these names, logos, or marks without authorization from the applicable owner.

Nothing on the Website grants you a trademark license by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.

7. Contact Form and User Submissions

The Website includes a Contact Us form through which Users may submit general inquiries, Bible study interest, questions, comments, or other messages.

Information submitted through the form may include:

- Name;
- Email address;
- Phone number;
- The area nearest to the User;
- Bible study interest or another selected inquiry type; and
- The User’s written message.

Any information, question, comment, suggestion, idea, or other content you voluntarily send through the Website or by email is referred to as a “Submission.”

You represent that:

- The Submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- You are authorized to provide the information contained in it;
- The Submission does not violate another person’s privacy, intellectual-property, or other legal rights;
- The Submission does not contain unlawful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, or malicious material; and
- The Submission does not contain viruses, malicious code, or harmful files.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account information, medical records, government identification numbers, passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive information through the Contact Us form.

8. How We May Use Submissions

By submitting information through the Website, you authorize the Church to use, store, reproduce, transmit, and share the Submission only as reasonably necessary to:

Receive and review your inquiry;
Send a confirmation that your inquiry was received;
Respond to your inquiry;
Follow up regarding Bible study or Church-related information;
Route your inquiry to the appropriate South Central Region area or local Church team;
Contact you by email or telephone when appropriate;
Maintain internal records;
Protect the Website and its Users;

Submitting a message does not create a contractual, employment, membership, counseling, pastoral, confidential, fiduciary, or other special relationship between you and the Church.

The Church does not guarantee that every inquiry will receive a response or that a response will be provided within a particular period.

The Church’s collection, use, storage, routing, and disclosure of personal information submitted through the Website are described in the Website’s Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference and should be read together with these Terms.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy concerning the handling of personal information, the Privacy Policy will control with respect to that issue.

When you submit the Contact Us form or contact the Church electronically, you consent to receiving communications related to your inquiry by email, telephone, or other contact method you voluntarily provide.

You may receive an automated email confirming that the Church received your message.

Depending on the location or inquiry category you select, the message may be routed through Website systems to the appropriate regional area or local Church website team.

Electronic communications may not always be completely secure, uninterrupted, or error-free. The Church is not responsible for communications that are delayed, filtered, misdirected, intercepted, or not delivered due to circumstances outside its reasonable control.

The Church uses third-party services to create, host, operate, maintain, and support the Website.

Webflow, for Website hosting, design, and form functionality;
Zapier, for form-processing and message-routing automation;
Google Workspace services, including Gmail and Google Sheets, for communications and recordkeeping;
Google Search Console, for search performance, indexing, and Website visibility information; and
YouTube, for embedded or linked video content.

The Church does not own or control these third-party services. Your interaction with a third-party service may be governed by that provider’s own terms, privacy policy, security practices, and other rules.

The Church does not warrant or guarantee the availability, performance, security, accuracy, or continued operation of any third-party service.

The Church may add, remove, replace, or modify third-party services used in connection with the Website.

12. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Website and third-party services connected to the Website may use cookies, server logs, embedded-content technologies, or similar technical tools necessary to operate, secure, measure, or improve the Website.

As of the Last Updated date, the Church has not intentionally configured the Website to use targeted advertising pixels or behavioral advertising systems.

Third-party providers, including Webflow, Google, and YouTube, may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies and settings.

You access external websites and interact with embedded content at your own discretion and risk.

14. Accuracy and Availability of Information

The Church seeks to provide useful and accurate information. However, Website content may contain typographical errors, incomplete information, broken links, outdated details, or other inaccuracies.

The Church does not guarantee that all information on the Website is complete, current, accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose.

The Church does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information through the Website from children under 13.

Users under 18 should use the Website and submit personal information only with the knowledge and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

If the Church learns that a child under 13 submitted personal information without appropriate parental involvement, the Church may delete the information and discontinue communication.

The Church may restrict, suspend, or block access to all or part of the Website if it reasonably believes a User:

- Used the Website unlawfully;
- Interfered with Website operations;
- Misused Church content or identifiers; or

The Church is not obligated to investigate every report of misuse or provide advance notice before restricting access.

20. International Use

The Website is operated from the United States and primarily intended for a United States audience.

Users who access the Website from outside the United States do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with the laws applicable in their location.

Information submitted from outside the United States may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States as described in the Privacy Policy.

The Church does not represent that the Website or its Materials are appropriate or legally available in every country or jurisdiction.

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and your use of the Website will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any legal dispute arising out of or relating to the Website or these Terms shall be brought in a state or federal court with appropriate jurisdiction located in Tarrant County, Texas.

You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts for such disputes.

Nothing in this section prevents the Church from seeking appropriate injunctive or equitable relief in another court where necessary to protect its intellectual property, Website security, or legal rights.

The Church may provide notices to Website Users by posting them on the Website or by contacting a User through information voluntarily provided by that User.

23. No Waiver

If the Church does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not waive its right to enforce that provision later.

A waiver of one violation does not constitute a waiver of another or subsequent violation.

24. Severability

If a court determines that any provision of these Terms is unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or removed to the minimum extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

25. Assignment

You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without the Church’s prior written consent.

The Church may transfer or assign responsibility for the Website or its rights and obligations under these Terms to a related Church organization, successor, or service provider as permitted by law.

26. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies or notices expressly incorporated into them, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Church concerning your use of the Website.

These Terms supersede prior statements or understandings concerning Website use, whether written or oral.

Nothing in these Terms creates an agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, or franchise relationship between you and the Church.
